The New York based rapper James Todd Smith, professionally known as LL Cool J released his third studio album Walking With A Panther June 9, 1989 on Def Jam Recordings. The album was certified platinum by the RIAA and charted number 1 on the US Billboard Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums. Singles from the album include Jingling Baby, Going Back to Cali and Big Ole Butt.
