 Prodigy of mobb deep passed away six years ago Today on June 20 20017The Queens native and one half of Mobb Deep, Prodigy shocked the hip hop world with his demise, six years ago on June 20, 2017 at the Spring Valley Medical Center in Las Vegas, Nevada shortly after being hospitalised for complications related to his sickle cell anaemia. The innovative sensitivity and the lyrical skills that Prodigy brought to the art of Hip Hop along with his partner,  Havoc will forever be remembered in the history of Hip Hop. Prodigy and Havoc as Mobb Deep released 8 studio albums. However, as a solo artist,  he released 5 studio albums. RIP P.
